ALL ABOUT CATALYTIC CONVERTERS

APS’s Direct-fit catalytic converter program offers more than 300 + direct-fit converters covering over 1,200 applications, and model years through 2016.

All APS Direct-fit converters feature proprietary catalytic wash-coating formulae that meet or exceeds required emissions standards, and to maximize engine output and catalytic efficiency. All our converters are EPA certified for sale with the exclusions of CA and NY.

APS’s Direct-fit converters come complete with installation kits with everything you need for easy installation, including hardware, gaskets, and accessories.

QUALITY CONTROL

APS’s quality control includes the following checks:

• Leak testing. All welded sections are tested to a rate of 150ml/30sec max. All flex pipes and completed catalytic converters are tested to a rate of 800ml/30sec max.
• All APS converters are 100% manufacturing line inspected, followed by a QA/QC inspection whereby the manufactured unit is test fitted using a testing jig.
• All APS converter prototypes are vehicle fit tested prior to the implementation of manufacturing.is is usually in response to government regulation, either through direct environmental regulation or through health and safety regulations.
